EIGHTING Co., Ltd. was founded in Ota-ku, Tokyo, to develop, design, produce, and sell game software (investment of 3 million yen).
May
Developed and launched the arcade shooting game Sorcer Striker as the company’s first product.
November
Changed the company’s type of organization from a limited company (yugen gaisha) to a joint-stock company (kabushiki gaisha).

1994

December
Developed and launched our first consumer game software—the home gaming version of an original arcade puzzle game developed by the company. This marked the beginning of active development and sales of consumer game software based on our original arcade games.

1997

July
Developed and launched the 3D fighting game Bloody Roar for arcades and the PlayStation home console.

2000

June
Entered the mobile content business by distributing the adventure novel game Baron House no Natsuyasumi (later Dokiwaku Keitai Shoten) for NTT Docomo, Inc.’s i-mode system.
October
Acquired Raizing Co., Ltd. and Logic and Magic Co., Ltd. (capital: 22.25 million yen).
Strengthened our development structure and expanded the contract production business for consumer game software.
November
Relocated our headquarters to Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.

Began distributing the network role-playing game Keitai Ninja Jo! for NTT Docomo, Inc.’s i-mode system.

2002

December
Registered a patent for a “personal authentication method” (a personal authentication method in which music data from a mobile device’s audio source is verified by a reader).

2003

April
Planned and developed the 3D competitive fighting game Naruto: Clash of Ninja for home consoles.
July
Launched the “Character Committee” website for PC users.
Entered the licensing business and began distributing information about original characters.

2004

February
Developed and launched “Awausagi” (Bubble Rabbit) and “YIN YANG PANDA” plush toy products for game arcades.
Began distributing CHARA MOBA, a general website for mobile phones.

Began distributing “MUSICAL mobile” (later “Musical Cafe”) musical-dedicated ringtones for NTT Docomo, Inc.’s i-mode system.

Began distributing mobile content for the Vodafone live! (Now Yahoo! Keitai) service operated by Vodafone K.K. (Now Softbank Mobile Corp.).

Founded EIGHTING Okinawa Co., Ltd. (capital: 15 million yen). Strengthened our development structure and promoted networking.

Newly established the Sapporo Studio in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, to strengthen our development structure.

Strengthened our development structure by establishing a department dedicated to producing social network games for mobile devices.

Began distributing the original game Gekitotsu! Break Gakuen as a native app for smartphones.

As part of our group strategy, EIGHTING Okinawa Co., Ltd. was acquired and reorganized into our new “Okinawa Studio.”

Began distributing the original training simulation game Rainbow Run Girls as a smartphone app.

Became a wholly owned subsidiary of COLOPL, Inc. and delisted from the TSE Mothers Index.
Developed the VR competitive fighting game STEEL COMBAT.

Developed the networked VR experience THE MAZE: Connecting with a futuristic Tokyo, which was exhibited at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show in 2017.

Responsible for porting Nintendo Co., Ltd.’s Pikmin 3 Deluxe to the Nintendo Switch, as well as planning, developing, and tweaking additional elements.

Responsible for the planning and development of Nexon Co., Ltd.'s 2.5D home-use fighting game DNF DUEL.
